Economist: Japan 'should bounce back'

Economist Jeffrey Sachs says Japan's economy should bounce back, despite global concerns following a massive earthquake.

    First of all, You are extraordinarily great at this. You are straightforward, to the point and have a complete command of the facts. I guess that lawyer training did some good! (You remind me of Charlie Rose, just not as folksy and more hard hitting).

    I also found Jeffrey Sachs to be easy to listen to. I did have a few concerns about his obvious distaste of fossil fuel use for our energy needs, almost to the point of being a bit of a radical!

    He was very much on his high horse when he was making the connection between fossil fuel use and climate change. And he was extraordinarily preachy when he was telling me how my tax dollars should be spent on research! If it was a political race you would have to give equal time to the other side it was so bad!!!

    Instead of spewing the venom, why doesn't he just find a way to provide the path to energy independence. A man as well spoken as he is shouldn't have any problem raising the money to save us all.
